The Autumn Edition of ABLE Activator is postponed for next spring
Our mission in ABLE Activator is to promote entrepreneurship and leadership in Bulgaria by empowering ambitious self-starters bring meaningful ideas to life.
We fulfill this purpose by organizing different courses and workshops dedicated to leadership and entrepreneurship. Our signature cornerstone program is the exclusive 6-weekend ABLE Activator. It provides 30 ambitious young professionals residing in Bulgaria with the knowledge, network and mentorship to generate breakthrough ideas and develop them to a ready-to-launch versions.
The whole team has been really excited about the upcoming autumn edition of the program. However, our top priority stays the health and safety of our participants, organisers, lecturers and everyone else involved in the Activator.
We have been keeping a close eye on the recent health developments in our country. After a summer lull, cases are rapidly rising again as the new more contagious Delta covid variant spreads. According to the latest predictions, the high tide of this 4th wave is going to peak towards the end of September. The government is planning to install a series of restrictive measures with the aim to mitigate and contain the risks associated with the pandemic. All of this will make conducting our first modules in an offline environment impossible.
Under these circumstances, it is our duty to take the most responsible action, no matter how hard it may be. As a result of all of the above developments, we have decided to postpone the autumn edition of ABLE Activator for the upcoming spring.
We too miss the inspiring get-togethers and wish to maintain the entrepreneurial momentum throughout the following months. With this in mind, we are planning to host a 2-day start-up course ABLE [weekend] Activator towards the beginning of December. We are also considering developing a set of one or two-day workshops, which would take place under highest safety measures.
